Kent Probation |

Kent Probation Area is one of the largest probation services in England and Wales. Every year the Kent service supervises around 5,000 offenders on rehabilitation orders, punishment and rehabilitation orders, punishment orders and licences and prepares around 5,500 reports for the courts. Over 500 staff work in the community, courts, the hostel and prisons as well as on secondment to various agencies.

Community Impressed By Offender Payback |

Work by offenders at Cliffsend Village Hall so impressed residents that they continue to call upon Kent Probation’s Community Payback teams to carry out refurbishment work.
Jim Mannering, Vice-Chairman of Cliffsend Village Hall, and Sheila Verier, from Cliffsend Residents’ Association, thanked Community Payback Supervisor Vic Pike for the work carried out by offenders under his supervision.
Community Payback teams have been working at the site for the past three years, helping to transform the hall by maintaining the grounds, plastering and decorating. |
